The Bout of the Imperfect Pearl
When the first Covid streak hit, The Shift wanted to find a different way to reach an audience. We tore down our ideals of having a fixed space with beautiful costumes and lighting and took to the streets of Oslo, Norway, with Der Ute (Out There), a dance crawl through the city.
The piece unfolds into an abstract story of a woman going through different inner stages of recovering and moving on in her life.
